China's independent research and development of the world's first permanent magnet generator

The fully permanent magnet suspension horizontal off-grid wind turbine jointly developed by Guangzhou Energy Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Guangzhou Zhongke Hengyuan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has recently passed the technical appraisal organized by Guangdong Science and Technology Department. Inquired by the China Institute of Science and Technology Information, this achievement is the first in the world.

It is reported that the Guangzhou Energy Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the only research institution in China engaged in the comprehensive research and development of new energy and renewable energy. This fully permanent magnet suspension wind turbine with permanent magnets and no control system is completely developed by China. The successful development of this project has made a key breakthrough in wind power generator technology in China and the world.

According to the comparative inspection by relevant departments, the generator output power can be increased by more than 20% after the installation of the full permanent magnet suspension bearing. That is to say, at the same wind speed, the all permanent magnet suspension generator can increase the power generation by 20%.

According to Li Guokun, the chief scientist of the project, compared with traditional wind turbines, the most characteristic of all permanent magnet suspension wind turbines is that they can achieve "light wind start, breeze power generation", and their starting wind speed is 1.5 m / s, which is much lower than Traditional 3.5 m / s.

Taking Gansu Province as an example, at present, only 7% of the area in the province can reach a starting wind speed of 3.5 m/s, while the area with a starting wind speed of 1.5 m/s is more than 70%, an increase of nearly 10 times. At present, China's abundant wind energy resources account for 8% of the national area, and the available area accounts for 50% of the national area. Experts in the appraisal group believe that the low wind speed start-up technology of the all-permanent-host suspension wind turbine has positive significance for the development of low wind speed resources in the vast areas of China and the increase of the annual power generation time of wind turbines.
